Our History
From the very start, our vision was to provide excellent, professional service with timely results. In 2012, Mile High Environmental Services Inc (MHES) was founded as an asbestos abatement company in Denver, CO. Over time, we expanded our services to include other health risks such as lead paint and mold remediation. Our comprehensive services are now designed to cover all types of environmental services that your residential or commercial property could require, from flooding to demolition.
Today, our premier asbestos removal services are still our trademark across Colorado. We have experience in asbestos removal in multiple scenarios, from apartment complexes to industrial facilities. Our work history extends to railroad facilities, military bases, schools, universities, and open-air projects as well.
At MHES, we’re proud to service the entire state of Colorado as a fully-licensed, fully insured company. Our staff stay up-to-date on best practices by attending annual training, completing rigorous testing, and ensuring compliance with CDPHE and OSHA. Ivan Garcia
President/Operations Manager
Ivan is the President and Operations Manager of Mile High Environmental Services. With over 20 years in the asbestos removal industry, Ivan made the decision to launch his own company here in Denver Colorado. Ivan makes a point to personally check up on every job site, no matter the size of the project, to ensure it is being completed up to everyone’s expectations.
When Ivan is not spending time on working in the field or getting proposals together, his hobbies include spending time with his family, sports and traveling internationally. He is an avid Rockies fan and tries to make at least a dozen baseball games a year to root for his hometown team. Ivan’s favorite international destination is Roatan, Honduras, where the beaches are secluded, clean and mesmerizing.
Victoria Garcia
Chief Financial Officer
Victoria is your go-to for any questions you may have about proposals and billing inquiries. Victoria will be scheduling your complimentary job walk and sending your proposals over. She is here to answer your questions up until project launch, then Erin, our Project Coordinator, will be in touch with further details during the project commencement.
Victoria, originally from New York, moved to Colorado in 2012. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling internationally during her time off, in which she has visited over 10 countries. Her favorite destination to date has been to Santorini, Greece, where sunsets are perfect, and their homes are built into the side of the mountains to overlook deep blue oceans and electrifying sunsets.
