This position supports abatement projects by performing a variety of physical and manual tasks, including site preparation, debris removal, material handling, and equipment assistance. This position helps keep job sites safe, clean, and organized while working closely with supervisors and crew members. This position follows all safety protocols and contributes to efficient, compliant project execution.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of abatement tools, equipment, and techniques
- Familiarity with safety regulations and willingness to follow safety guidelines
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well on a team and communicate clearly
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing site conditions
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in construction, abatement, or a related field is a plus
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Must have asbestos certification from CDHPE
